The New Jersey Association of Ambulatory Surgery Centers elected five officers to its board of directors, according to ROI-NJ.
NJAASC appointed Jeff Shanton of Jersey City-based Journal Square Surgical Center as president, Meg Stagliano, RN, of Brick-based Seashore Surgical Institute as vice president, Caroline Ivanovski-Hauser of Fair Lawn-based Bergen-Passaic Eye Surgery Center as treasurer, and Sheila McAteer, BSN, RN, of Marlton-based Virtua as secretary.
Ms. McAteer and Melissa Bushnell, BSN, RN, of Atlantic City-based AtlantiCare joined the board earlier this year.
Other NJAASC board members include:
- Edmund Abramovitz of the Alexander Group Consultants
- Sharon Gelardi of the Gastro Surgi Center of New Jersey in Mountainside
- Michael Graziano of Clifton Surgery Center
- Joan McKibben of Ambulatory Surgical Center of Somerset
- Andrew Weiss of Summit Surgical in Voorhees
Mr. Weiss is immediate past president of NJAASC.
