TransMed7, a medical device company, appointed Michael Demeure, MD, chair of its endocrine and gastrointestinal health team.

1. TransMed7 also named Dr. Demeure to its clinical and scientific advisory board.
2. Dr. Demeure is the program director for precision medicine at Newport Beach, Calif.-based Hoag Family Cancer Institute and an adjunct professor at Phoenix-based Translational Genomics Research Institute.
3. Dr. Demeure is internationally recognized for his work with treating endocrine, pancreatic and gastrointestinal cancers.
4. TransMed7 Co-Founder and CEO Eugene Vetter said in a release, "We are honored to have Dr. Demeure as Chair of our Endocrine and GI Health Team.
