Tennessee Governor Declares March 7 'Dress in Blue Day' in Honor of Colorectal Cancer Awareness

Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam proclaimed March 7 as "Dress in Blue Day" to promote colorectal cancer awareness, according to an AmSurg blog post.

AmSurg physician Kevin Finnegan, MD, of Associated Endoscopy, presented Governor Haslam with a colon cancer awareness t-shirt.

President Barack Obama recently designated March 2014 as National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.
