Kristi McClellan, PA, recently joined the staff of Penn Highlands Gastroenterology, in DuBois, Pa., The Progress News reports.
Here’s what you should know.
1. Ms. McClellan will see patients alongside Richard Latuska, MD, and Juan Carrere, MD, as well as nurse practitioner Jeannie Root. She joins a team of two other physician assistants.
2. Ms. McClellan earned her bachelor’s degree in health services and her master’s degree in physician assistant sciences from St. Francis University, in Loretto, Pa. She additionally completed several clinical rotations in a variety of medical specialties.
3. PH DuBois President John Sutika lauded the hiring saying, "Having Kristi join such a dynamic group of providers will be a great fit for both Kristi and the practice."
