Olympus America has announced it has partnered with Caris Diagnostics, a provider of anatomic pathology services, on a new automated pathology reporting interface, according to an Olympus news release.
The new Olympus EndoWorks 7.4 interface can provide endoscopy with an automated pathology solution, assisting with the pathology requisition and report retrieval process, according to the release. EndoWorks is a web-based information management solution that spans all stages of GI and pulmonary patient care. Features include the ability to capture HD clinical images and videos, generate physician procedure reports and letters and archive critical patient data to their HIS/EMR system.

"We are pleased to collaborate with this high-quality diagnostic partner [in Caris Diagnostics] to better streamline the process of lab results delivery. Our goal in this partnership is an enhanced level of patient care."
