Modernizing Medicine launches tools to combat patient no-shows — 4 insights

Modernizing Medicine incorporated a suite of patient communication tools into its practice management software to reduce patient no-shows and improve compliance.

Here's what you should know:

1. The patient engagement tool can send reminders oand help patients confirm upcoming appointments through automated texts, phone calls and emails. The tool also engages no-show patients to schedule new appointments, update patients on potential delays and solicit patient feedback through automated surveys.

2. Modernizing Medicine partnered with Relatient to offer the tool.

3. The tool will be offered to Modernizing Medicine's gastroenterology, dermatology, ophthalmology, orthopedic surgery, pain management, otolaryngology, urology and plastic surgery customers.

4.
