Burlington, Mass.-based medical technology company Laborie Medical Technologies partnered with investment firm Signet Healthcare Partners to close an acquisition deal with GI Supply, according to an Oct. 1 statement.
GI Supply, led by CEO Kristi Dahlke, will continue operating independently, the statement said. With the acquisition, Ashley Friedman, managing director at Signet Healthcare Partners, will join the board of directors at GI Supply.
"We are pleased to welcome this talented team to the LABORIE family," Michael Frazzette, president and CEO of Laborie, said in the statement. "While we will continue to function separately from an operations perspective, we are excited about our commercial partnership in the U.S. This partnership enables both companies to offer healthcare practitioners a broad portfolio of innovative GI products to support their patients."
