Hartford (Conn.) Healthcare has launched a digestive health institute, the hospital said Jan. 12.
The institute will focus on digestive disease management at Hartford Healthcare's acute care hospitals, ASCs and endoscopy centers.
The institute, led by gastroenterologist Jeffrey Nestler, MD, surgical oncologist Brett Schipper, MD, and Vice President of Operations Lindsey Meehan, promotes physician collaboration across specialties.
