Given Imaging released 10 abstracts supporting the clinical use of PillCam COLON for a non-invasive, radiation-free colon exam.
The abstracts show data to back up conclusions, such as that the device revealed new lesions in 60 percent of patients with incomplete colonoscopies. Patients also preferred the PillCam COLON to traditional colonoscopy procedures, citing pain and embarrassment associated with colonoscopy.
The abstracts will be presented throughout the week at the United European Gastroenterology Week in Berlin.
