Muhammad Hasan, MD, is a gastroenterologist practicing at Florida Hospital in Orlando. He is presently the director of the advanced endoscopy fellowship program at the Centers for Interventional Endoscopy and assistant professor of medicine at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
Dr. Hasan specializes in treating Barrett's esophagus, endoscopic resection of small and large bowel polyps and small bowel endoscopy in addition to many others. He is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Hasan completed a residency in internal medicine from the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City where he served as chief resident of internal medicine. He went on to complete a gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma. He additionally completed an endoscopic ultrasound fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla. Dr. Hasan completed an advanced endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
