Steven Fine, MD, is the chief of the gastroenterology department and endoscopy services at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, Mass.
In this role, he oversees a physician staff that perform more than 10,000 endoscopic procedures annually. Dr. Fine serves on the medical advisory committee of the New England Chapter of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. His clinical interests include screening for colon cancer, treating Barrett’s esophagus and GI endoscopy.
Dr. Fine is a graduate of Harvard College in Cambridge, Mass., and Cornell University Medical College in New York City. He also completed his GI fellowship in New York City at The New York Hospital - Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Fine recieved the 2012 and 2013 patients' choice 5th anniversary awards from physician review site Vitals.
