GI leader to know: Dr. Kimberly Brown of the Henry Ford Health System

Kimberly A. Brown, MD, is the chief of gastroenterology at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit.

Dr. Brown has served in the role since 2003. Before becoming chief of gastroenterology, Dr. Brown was the medical director of liver transplantation, and was the gastroenterology fellowship director.

She currently sits on the Henry Ford Hospital and Health Network Board for Henry Ford Health System and is the secretary for the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.

Dr. Brown earned her medical degree from Wayne State University Medical School in Detroit and completed her gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor.
