GI Alliance partnered with ObvioHealth, a research organization, to create decentralized clinical trial designs, according to a Jan. 19 news release.
The move pairs ObvioHealth's virtual trial capabilities with GI Alliance's research network to facilitate safer hybrid clinical trials, the release said.
"This partnership helps alleviate many of the burdensome requirements of clinical trials, allowing our physicians to concentrate on patient care and better support them through the clinical trial journey," Tim Ritter, MD, senior research medical director of GI Alliance, said in the release.
