Gastroenterologist Ann Chen, MD, clinical assistant professor in the division of gastroenterology and hepatalogy for the Stanford (Calif.) School of Medicine, is featured in a new Stanford faculty spotlight column.
The column provides some background on Dr. Chen and then sees her addressing a series of questions on topics including where she did her training, what led to her focus in gastroenterology and something surprising about gastroenterology.
Dr. Chen is board certified in both gastroenterology and internal medicine, according to her bio. She received her MD from the University of California, Irvine, and completed fellowships at University of California, Irvine, and California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. Her research focus includes various advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures with focus on premalignant and malignant gastrointestinal diseases.
