The gastroenterologists of Galen Medical Group, based in Chattanooga, Tenn., recently hosted Mayo Clinic gastroenterologist Michael Wallace, MD, according to a report by The Chattanoogan.
Dr. Wallace visited the practice to discuss the physicians' baseline performance in polyp removal, according to the report. The Galen Medical Group gastroenterologists have been tracking and studying the benchmark and their performance for years.
The gastroenterologists all perform in the top 20 percent for polyp detection and removal.
