FUJIFILM achieved FDA clearance for the iViz, a new medical visualization solution.
Here are five things to know:
1. The iViz was developed from the ground-up for the highly-mobile clinician. It is already commercialized in Europe.
2. Clinicians can access learning resources and patient information, store exam findings, submit reports and consult with remote providers for near real-time assessment with iViz.
3. The technology fits into FUJIFILM's ultrasound integration with medical IT and is the first medical visualization solution with bi-directional EMR connectivity through the Synapse VNA.
4. The iViz is based on flexible Android OS and includes web-browsing, email and ECG capability.
5. The system is light-weight and includes a high resolution, seven-inch display touch screen, wide dynamic range and vibrant color flow images in addition to imaging modes and exams to meet the needs of different providers.
