The American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery has named Excela Health a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, according to a Pittsburgh Business Times report.
The three-year accreditation means bariatric surgery is covered by Medicare and other insurance plans, increasing the number of patients who can receive treatment at Excela.
