Gastroenterologist Todd Baron, MD, has joined the University of North Carolina division of gastroenterology and hepatology as director of advanced therapeutic endoscopy.
Dr. Baron previously served as director of pancreaticobiliary endoscopy at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He also has experience as chair of the Standards of Practice Committee of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
He currently serves as the president of the Society of Gastrointestinal Intervention.
