Nitesh Ratnakar will continue to serve as the American College of Gastroenterology's West Virginia Governor, The Intermountain reports.

1. Dr. Ratnakar is one of 79 governors who represent a state or geographical region in the American College of Gastroenterology.
2. In his position, he will meet with West Virginia-based physicians and policymakers to communicate ACG's messages.
3. Dr. Ratnakar practices out of Elkins, W.Va.-based WV Gastroenterology and Endoscopy.
He said to The Intermountain, "It's an honor to continue my service to the American College of Gastroenterology. As an ACG Governor, I am part of a group of experts that examines how digestive medicine can improve health and health care at the local, state and national level."
