The Fairfield/Westchester Chapter of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America named Neal Schamberg, MD, winner of its 2016 Suzanne Rosenthal Humanitarian Award.

1. Dr. Schamberg is an AmSurg partner and provides care at Diagnostic Endoscopy Center of Stamford, Conn.
2. He is co-medical advisor for the Fairfield/Westchester chapter of the CCFA.
3. He focuses on inflammatory bowel disease and lectures regularly to patients and families on advances in the field.
4. He completed his gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York.
