Center for Digestive Health Opens in New Jersey

Capital Health in Trenton, N.J., has opened the Center for Digestive Health, according to a news release by Capital Health.

 

The center is led by Armen Simonian, MD, the section chief of gastroenterology at Capital Health for the past eight years. It includes Jason N. Rogart, MD, director of interventional gastroenterology and therapeutic endoscopy, and Francis Rosato, MD, a gastrointestinal surgeon with expertise in minimally invasive procedures.

 

The center provides advanced diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as Barrett's esophagus, pancreatic and bile duct disorders, acid reflux disease, swallowing issues, hiatal hernia, peptic ulcer disease, pancreatitis, liver disease or failure, inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's and colitis, and cancers of the esophagus, stomach, liver, pancreas, small bowel and colon.
