The American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy has officially opened its $20 million Institute for Training & Technology in Downers Grove, Ill., according to a Gastroenterology & Endoscopy News report.
The 42,000-square-foot facility includes 2,800-square-foot laboratories that allow for hands-on training. The facility also has a lecture hall that seats more than100 people.
The new facility opened its doors after nine years of fundraising, planning and construction.
