A presidential ghostwriter? Dr. Harold Bornstein claims Trump wrote 'extraordinary' health letter himself

Gastroenterologist Harold Bornstein, MD, claims a letter decreeing then-candidate Donald Trump was in "extraordinary" health was written by Mr. Trump himself, CNN reports.

Here's what you should know.

1. Dr. Bornstein told CNN, "He dictated that whole letter. I didn't write that letter. I just made it up as I went along."

2. In addition to claiming President Trump was in "extraordinary" health, the letter said, "If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency." The letter went on to state President Trump had a blood pressure of 110/65 and that he had lost 15 pounds in 2015.

3. Dr. Bornstein said he wrote what President Trump dictated over the phone.

4. The White House declined comment to CNN.
