8 gastroenterologists in the news

Becker's ASC Review reported on news featuring eight gastroenterologists:

The Journal of Investigative Medicine named Richard McCallum, MD, editor-in-chief. He currently serves as a gastroenterology specialist and directs Texas Tech's Center for Neurogastroenterology and GI Motility.

John Vargo II, MD, a gastroenterologist at the Cleveland Clinic and new president of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, shared his goals for his term in an interview with Becker's ASC Review.

A number of experts in gastroesophageal reflux disease, Barrett's esophagus and esophageal cancer joined the medical advisory board of cancer diagnosis company Cernostics. The board includes:
