3 insights into Fujifilm's soon-to-debut endoscope

Fujifilm Medical Systems will debut its new 700 series endoscopes at Digestive Disease Week, June 2 to June 5 in Washington, D.C.

Here's what you should know:

1. The 700 series scopes feature several enhancements in usability and visualization.

2. The scopes use CMOS chips to provide noiseless image transmission. The scopes' grips were redesigned with comfort in mind. The scopes also feature a flexible adjuster to adjust the stiffness of the scope to user preference.

3. The scopes are compatible with the Eluxeo, endoscopic video imaging system. The Eluxeo has 4-LED multilight technology and features both blue light and link color imaging modes.

Fujifilm Medical Systems' President of Endoscopy Keiichi Nagata said, "DDW 2018 is an ideal conference to debut Fujifilm’s 700 Series Endoscopes. Designed for use with our Eluxeo system, the advanced features help physicians achieve optimal diagnostic and therapeutic results in endoscopic procedures. We look forward to introducing new innovations to over 14,000 industry professionals in a few days."
