Paul Phillips Eye & Surgery Center physician Paul Phillips, MD, recently visited Bolivia on a mission trip with his daughter, according to an NJ.com report.
Dr. Phillips spent a week performing eye surgeries through the non-profit organization Medical Ministries International. Dr. Phillips and 80 other volunteers set up a clinic in an athletic dorm about a mile away from the local hospital. The clinic treated around 500 people every day.
