2. Digital healthcare is a growing field with the global mobile health market expected to hit $49 billion by 2020.
3. Health Digital offers "co-ventures" through exchanging free software development and mentorship for equity.
4. The program will allow more transformative companies to enter the market through offsetting product building costs.
5. Health Digital has accumulated five companies in its portfolio since it launched in November 2014.
6. Three more companies are slated to join Health Digital within the next few months.
7. Health Digital collaborated with Mount Sinai Health System in New York to work with Sinai's app lab and surrounding hospitals to implement paradigm shifts which benefits both physicians and patients.
