A panel of experts will give a presentation titled "Orthopedic Roundtable — The Business of Orthopedics" at Becker's October Conference. The panel includes:
• Allston J. Stubbs, MD, MBA. Independent Orthopedic Practice
• John Cherf, MD, President of OrthoIndex, Vice Chairman of OrthoCentrix Solutions and Chief of Orthopedics of The Chicago Institute of Orthopedics
• Jack M. Bert, MD, board-vertified orthopedic surgeon at Minnesota Bone & Joint Specialists
Dr. Stubbs has performed more than 200 hip arthroscopic procedures a year, surpassing the national average. He earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and went on to complete an orthopedic residency at Duke University Hospital in Dunham, N.C. He complete a pediatric orthopedics fellowship at Harvard Medical School in Boston.
Dr. Cherf earned his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago where he also completed his residency. He completed a knee surgery fellowship from the Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in Murray, Utah, and completed a sports medicine fellowship from Sports Medicine West in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Dr. Bert attended medical school at Temple University in Philadelphia. He went on to completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He has been practicing medicine for more than 35 years and teaches orthopedic surgeons nationally and internationally on knee pathology.
