Man suspected of stabbing, killing surgery center nurse will stand trial — 3 details

A man suspected of stabbing and killing a nurse in the surgery center at Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, Texas, was found fit to stand trial, KLTV reports.

Here's what you should know:

1. Longview resident Kyron Rayshuan Templeton allegedly stabbed and killed a nurse and injured four others in 2013.

2. Mr. Templeton was charged with murder and four counts of aggravated assault. He was found competent to stand trial and has a hearing scheduled for Nov. 9.

3. The suspect fled the scene but officers apprehended him blocks away shortly after the incident.
