Here are seven updates on ASC management companies from the last week.
Sheridan, AmSurg's physician services division, acquired Jandee Anesthesiology Partners and Karadan Anesthesiology and Pain Management, thereby expanding its anesthesiology services business in New Jersey. As of March 31, 2016, AmSurg owned and operated 256 ASCs and one surgical hospital in 34 states and the District of Columbia.
Mizuho analysts raised AmSurg's price target from $84 to $90 last week. The analysts' updated price target indicates a 20.68 percent potential upside from AmSurg's current price.
During the week of May 31 to June 3, Hospital Corporation of America shares traded at $78.14 per share, up 0.6 percent.
Surgical Care Affiliates' systemwide net patient revenue on a same site basis was up 10.1 percent in 2016 over the previous year and case volume increased 8.3 percent.
Former Tenet Healthcare executive Sarath Degala is joining Surgery Partners as chief development officer. Mr. Degala will be a C-level officer at Surgery Partners and is the eighth member of the company's leadership team.
Tenet shares reached $28.91 during the week of May 31 to June 3, up 0.6 percent.
During the first quarter, Nobilis Health reported total assets at $228.2 million, which consisted primarily of cash at $16.2 million and accounts receivable at $74.2 million. The company reported $44.8 million of Goodwill and $34.5 million of PP&E.
