Six statistics to know:
1. Over sixty percent of ASCs are physician-owned.
2. Twenty-four percent of ASCs are physician-hospital joint ventures.
3. Four percent of ASCs are corporately owned.
4. Three percent are hospital-owned.
5. Four percent of ASCs are owned jointly by physicians and a corporation.
6. One percent of ASCs are owned by physicians, hospitals and corporations.
