Here are three recent updates on Dallas-based United Surgical Partners International, Tenet Healthcare's ASC chain, that Becker's has reported on since Oct. 18:
1. USPI hit $941 million in third-quarter operating revenue, an increase from $806 million the year prior, according to financial results released Oct. 30.
2. Saum Sutaria, MD, CEO of Tenet Healthcare, said the company has a pipeline of more than 30 de novo ASCs at various stages of maturity.
3. Twenty-nine ASCs affiliated with United Surgical Partners International made Newsweek's "America's Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers" list, which ranks 550 of the more than 5,000 Medicare-certified ASCs in the country.
