Regent Surgical Health names Christopher Stine corporate compliance officer.
Here are five notes:
1. Prior to his role as compliance officer, Mr. Stine served as one of Regent's purchasing managers.
2. In his new role, Mr. Stine will work to make sure the company's compliance program adheres to federal and state guidelines. He will also maintain and monitor Regent's compliance program.
3. As compliance officer, Mr. Stine will educate faculty administrators, Regent corporate team members as well as physician partners on various compliance issues and procedures necessary to adhere to compliance standards.
4. Mr. Stine previously served as a CEO in the U.S. Marines Corps, where he created a new standard operating procedure that managed more than $10 million worth of serialized inventory's inflow, outflow and maintenance.
5. He earned his Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School in Chicago, and a master of business administration from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, Ill.
"I am very pleased to serve Regent in this new role and look forward to outlining and maintaining pertinent compliance laws and regulations and continually monitoring and reporting results of our efforts," said Mr. Stine. "HIPAA will continue to be a priority as we work to ensure every Regent facility meets standards, and has the appropriate processes and procedures in place."
