Pocono Health System, based in East Stroudsburg, Pa., has announced its Pocono Ambulatory Surgery Center in Stroudsburg will undergo an expansion that will nearly double the ambulatory surgery center's square footage.
The expansion project by the health system, in conjunction with its physician-partners, will add 17,600 square feet to the existing 21,000 square foot ASC.
The new space will be used for three new surgical suites and other additions.
