The CEO of Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster, Pa., discusses the benefits of the organization's acquisition of River View Surgery Center in a report from The Eagle-Gazette.
The hospital acquired the ambulatory surgery center earlier this year and has been operating the ASC since March 1.
FMC President and CEO Mina Ubbing told The Eagle-Gazette the acquisition provides better access for the hospital's patients and gives the hospital increased access to operating rooms without the need for construction.
