New York-Presbyterian Hospital is planning to open an $896 million ambulatory surgery center across the street from its New York Weill Cornell Center Campus, according to a Crain's New York Business report.
The hospital expects to fundraise $395.5 million and pay for the remainder of the cost with a $500 million mortgage.
The surgery center offers primary care, infusion therapy, radiology, MRI, PET scan, linear accelerator and surgery services.
Construction of the ASC is anticipated to begin in August 2014.
