Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis has broken ground on a new project that includes an outpatient surgery center, according to a Suburban Journals report.
The surgery center is included in construction of a new $140 million, 216,000-square-foot pavilion on the west side of the hospital's campus that will also feature four new operating rooms and four private floors.
The pavilion is scheduled for completion by July 2013.
