A proposed joint-venture ophthalmology surgery center for Wilton, N.Y., has received approval from the state's Department of Health, according to a Business Review report.
Local ophthalmologists and Glens Falls (N.Y.) Hospital will collaborate on the North Country Eye Center, with the physicians owning a majority of the surgery center. The physicians have practices in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and Glens Falls, and perform surgery at Glens Falls Hospital.
The project is expected to break ground in July or August, with a targeted open by March 2013.
