Avera Health, a network of 300 locations in eastern South Dakota and surrounding states, has broken ground on a new medical center in Worthington, Minn., that will include an outpatient surgery center, according to a Daily Globe report.
The $16 million, 60,000-square-foot facility will include the ambulatory surgery center, family practice and internal medicine, physical therapy and behavioral health services.
It is expected to open in a year or less.
