New Indiana Ophthalmology Surgery Center Planned for Fort Wayne

Officials hope to break ground on a new ophthalmology surgery center in Fort Wayne, Ind., this spring, according to a report from The Journal Gazette.

A 13,000-square-foot complex, which would hold a surgery center and office, would be used by Gohar Salam, MD, retinal surgeon, and at least two other physicians.

The complex would be built near the new planned $500 million Parkview Regional Medical Center, which broke group in 2008 and is expected to open in 2012, according to a website for the new facility.
