Palo Alto Medical Foundation, a Sutter Health affiliate based in Mountain View, Calif., has announced it will break ground on a new medical center in San Carlos, Calif., that will include an outpatient surgery center, according to a news release.
The PAMF San Carlos Center will be constructed in two phases.
The first phase, with construction scheduled to commence soon, will be development of an outpatient medical center that will initially house 75 physicians, the ASC, an urgent care center, and laboratory and diagnostic imaging departments.
The second phase will be the construction of the acute inpatient care center (hospital). It has not yet been scheduled.
