The Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital Foundation, on behalf of Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier, Calif., is hosting a fundraising event later this month to benefit the hospital's new surgery center under development as part of a larger plaza tower project, according to a Whittier Daily News report.
The tower is scheduled to open in August.
Construction for the six-floor, 237,750-square-foot building began in March 2010.
