Montecito Medical Real Estate acquired a large medical office building and a surgery center from Atlanta-based Resurgens Orthopaedics.
Here's what you should know.
1. Montecito acquired the 32,785-square-foot Resurgens Center East and its adjoining surgery center, both in Covington, Ga.
2. The Covington facility is one of 23 Resurgens' facilities across Atlanta.
3. The facility was built in phases. The first phase was constructed in 2004. It houses clinical space, a physical therapy area and an MRI room. The second phase was completed in 2016 and houses the surgery center.
4. Montecito Medical CEO Chip Conk said, "Resurgens is a household name throughout the state of Georgia, and we could not be more excited to complete this transaction with them. With the opportunity for Resurgens to continue to manage the property, and for their physicians to invest back into this property and others in our growing portfolio, we believe we are creating wins for all parties."
