Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital officials dedicated the Mildred Milliman Outpatient Surgery Center on Thursday, marking the opening of the hospital's newest expansion, according to an Olean Times Herald report.
The $10.3 million, 22,000-square-foot facility is directly across from the hospital's main campus. The center includes four operating rooms, three endoscopic suites, preoperative and postoperative recovery areas, consultation areas and support space for patients undergoing minor surgical procedures.
Olean General officials estimate the center will serve more than 6,500 patients in the community during its first year. "We're so happy at the hospital that Olean and its service area have this facility," said hospital CEO and president Tim Finan.
