Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, Kan., is scheduled to soon break ground on a new surgical center, according to a Morning Sun report.
Construction on the $18 million, 40,000-square-foot center is expected to begin late June or early July.
The surgical center will be connected to the hospital. It will feature five operating rooms, two endoscopy rooms and a minor procedure room.
