Kaiser Permanente San Diego will break ground in April on a new ambulatory surgery center in San Marcos, Calif., according to a report from the San Diego Business Journal.
The ASC will be included in a fourth building at Kaiser's San Marcos campus. The 67,200-square-foot building will include the surgery center with four operating rooms and house 34 physicians.
The project, budgeted at $64 million, is scheduled for completion in 2012, according to the report.
