Construction on a new outpatient surgery center in Santa Monica, Calif., is scheduled to be completed in December, according to a Santa Monica Mirror report.
The 50,000-square-foot UCLA Outpatient Surgery Center and Oncology Center will house outpatient surgery and oncology treatment, and academic and medical office facilities for UCLA medical students and faculty.
The building's design was recently recognized with a National Healthcare Honor Design Award from the American Institute of Architects Academy of Architecture for Health.
