Poudre Valley Health System, based in Fort Collins, Colo., has announced plans to build an emergency room and same-day surgery center in Greeley, according to a Greeley Tribune report.
The facility will offer same-day services for general elective facilities as needs arise. The facility's emergency department will be staffed 24/7 by board-certified emergency room physicians from independent emergency provider group Emergency Physicians of the Rockies.
The facility will contain 10 examination rooms, two pediatric exam rooms, a resuscitation room and a lab, as well as an x-ray, ultrasound, CT and MRI equipment. The facility has an estimated cost of $14.5 million and is expected to open in June 2012.
