AmSurg has announced financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended Dec. 31, 2011, according to a Market Watch report.
AmSurg reported revenues for the fourth quarter of $223 million, an increase of 22 percent from $183 million for the fourth quarter of 2010. Revenues from 2011 increased 12 percent to $786 million from $703 million for 2010.
Christopher A. Holden, president and CEO of AmSurg, said AmSurg produced strong revenue growth for the fourth quarter of 2011, which reflected a 15 percent increase in procedures and a six percent increase in revenue per procedure.
