Calgary Scientific has received FDA clearance to market its ResolutionMD Mobile to help view diagnostic images on iPhones and iPads, according to a Calgary Scientific news release.
The new mobile product was purpose-built from existing ResolutionMD software, which received FDA clearance in 2006.
The application ensures that no confidential patient information is ever retained on the mobile device. The patient image data cannot be lost or stolen, as is the case for traditional mobile-device rendered software.
